Digital Process Analysis and Design

  Business processes must be restructured and improved to increase organisational performance.

  Digitalisation and information system needs should be defined accurately across sales, planning, R&D, production, purchasing and logistics processes.

  There are practical methods to build process structures that improve competitiveness and reduce costs.

  This course covers core concepts, tools, modelling and improvement approaches for process analysis and design.

  Example processes, case studies and best practices will be discussed.

  For in-house trainings, a short maturity assessment before the training and an action plan afterwards can be provided.

  Presentations and printed course materials provided to participants are in English.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  Analyze processes in terms of customer value, time, cost and quality.

  Model processes with standard notations (BPMN, SIPOC, swimlanes).

  Evaluate process data and process mining approaches.

  Identify and prioritize automation and AI opportunities.

  Define process ownership, roles and data governance.

  Plan improvement projects and manage change.
